Large Control Systems

ControlLogix Control Systems

ControlLogix control systems use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide high performance in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller, and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. You can perform standard and safety control in the same chassis for a truly integrated system. Leverage the high-availability and extreme environment capabilities to meet your application needs.

GuardPLC Safety Control Systems

GuardPLC Safety Control Systems offer superior speed in PLC throughput and network functionality. These controllers meet worldwide PLC standards and global standards for functional safety. This family is ideal for sensing speed, direction, zero-speed, temperature, pressure and flow applications. These controllers communicate on a Safe Ethernet communications network that is TÜV-certified for use in safety applications up to EN954 Category 4 and SIL 3.

SoftLogix Control Systems

Bulletin 1789 SoftLogix Control Systems are based on the Logix platform and seamlessly integrate machine control, motion control, and information processing. They take the control functions normally found in dedicated programmable controllers, encapsulate those functions in software and run them on a commercial operating system. The multi-tasking operating system allows you to prioritize 32 configurable tasks.

1785 PLC-5 Controllers

Rockwell Automation announces that as of June 2017, the PLC-5 Control System will be discontinued and no longer available for sale. Customers are encouraged to migrate from the PLC-5 Control System to the ControlLogix Control System.

Small Control Systems

CompactLogix Control Systems

CompactLogix and Compact GuardLogix controllers use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide mid-range application control in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. This commonality provides cost-effective integration of a machine or safety application into a plant-wide control system because it integrates safety, motion, discrete and drive capabilities in a single controller.

SLC 500 Controllers

Bulletin 1747 SLC 500 controllers provide a range of choices in memory, I/O capacity, instruction set, and communication ports to let you tailor a control system to your exact application requirements. The controllers have a strong reliability history covering hundreds of thousands of installations in a broad range of applications.

Micro Control Systems

MicroLogix Control Systems

CompactLogix and Compact GuardLogix controllers use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide mid-range application control in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. This commonality provides cost-effective integration of a machine or safety application into a plant-wide control system because it integrates safety, motion, discrete and drive capabilities in a single controller.

Chassis-Based I/O

Chassis-based I/O is specifically designed for a particular Allen-Bradley controller, as part of its family. You can install the I/O locally in the same chassis as the controller. Additionally, through the use of I/O communication networks, you can distribute the I/O closer to the sensors and actuators, reducing your wiring costs.

Software

Studio 5000

The Studio 5000 environment combines engineering and design elements into one standard framework that enables optimized productivity and reduced commissioning time. With the Studio 5000 environment, you can respond more quickly to changing market and business needs, while reducing total costs of ownership, including maintenance and training.

RSLogix5/500/5000

The RSLogix family of IEC-1131-compliant ladder logic programming packages helps you maximize performance, save project development time, and improve productivity. This family of products has been developed to operate on Microsoft Windows operating systems.
