Waste Water

The process of collecting and treating waste water requires the water utility to pay attention to many “moving parts”. The IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and SCADA system remotely monitors and controls different components of the waste water collection and treatment network, including the detection of wet well alarms (high/low alarms), as well as flow and pressure measurements.

It also supervises the pump status which monitors whether the pump is running or failing, number of pump starts, run time, temperature, etc. Furthermore, the system examines the power status; this includes the current power status and also stand-by generator status. The IIoT and SCADA system can also monitor the environmental parameters such as gases and turbidity.
